PonyTime in Escondido offers a perfect setting for children to learn about and interact with horses for the first time. We offer ongoing Pony Time classes for enthusiastic children.

Pony Time
$50 cash
$55 credit/ Venmo/ Zelle
Classes are typically offered mid-morning and late afternoon. We book out, so please call or text for availability and to reserve your spot.
We DO NOT take walk in’s. You must have a reservation.

Pony Time offers an enchanting gateway into the world of horses, designed to captivate children and spark their love for riding and equine care.
We begin with an introduction to your pony, focusing on safe handling.
Next, you'll discover the essentials of grooming, learning how to use the right equipment and understand your pony’s preferences. Then we saddle up and go for a ride!
Pony Time can be enjoyed as a one-time adventure or an ongoing series of lessons.
Each session highlights key aspects of horsemanship, from hoof care and leading techniques to the art of saddling up. The grand finale of every class is a delightful hand-led ride on your pony.
Class Length
1 to 2 children: 30 to 45 min class
2 to 6 children: 45 min to 1 hour +

What is Pony Time?
Pony Time teaches children the joy of caring for a pony. They learn all the skills they will need to get their horse ready to ride and will get to enjoy the experience of riding a pony.
This includes, grooming, saddling, caring for the hooves, mane and tail. Learning to safely interact with a horse, learning about horse anatomy, body language, communication and so much more.
Children will also get to experience the joy of riding with safe hand-led rides.

Private Pony Time
$65 per lesson
A private Pony Time session can be booked to allow for more time in the saddle.
It will be the same format but with individualized attention. 35 minutes.
